NBA Odds: Spurs VS Celtics NBA WAGERLINE
Every game counts for the San Antonio Spurs (42-30 SU, 40-31-1 ATS) and the Boston Celtics (43-29 SU, 35-36-1 ATS). Chances are they'll both make the playoffs, but whoever wins Sunday's matchup at the Garden will take a big step toward earning a Top-4 seed in their conference. NBA-TV has the opening tip at 7:30 PM ET.
San Antonio had won nine straight games at 8-1 ATS before losing 110-105 to the Miami Heat on Wednesday as 6-point home favorites. They're locked in a three-way tie for sixth place in the West, 2.5 games behind the No. 4 Portland Trail Blazers in the hunt for home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. The Celtics also lost Wednesday, falling 118-115 to the Philadelphia 76ers (-3.5 at home); they're fifth in the East, one game back of the Indiana Pacers for that valuable Top-4 seed. Boston's play has been up-and-down of late, and the arrow is currently pointing downward at 2-3 SU and 1-4 ATS over their past five games. Even worse, center Aron Baynes returned to the injured list after spraining his left ankle in Philadelphia, while PF Gordon Hayward remains in concussion protocol after missing back-to-back games.
