NBA Odds: Lakers-Clippers in Battle of Los Angeles Odds Livelines Matchup WAGERLINE
It's just about time to draw the curtain on the 2018-19 NBA regular season. The Los Angeles Lakers (35-42 SU, 32-43-2 ATS) have already been eliminated from the playoffs, but they'll be playing for pride Friday night when they "visit" the Los Angeles Clippers (47-31 SU, 45-32-1 ATS), tipping off from Staples Center at 10:30 PM ET.
Now that they're officially out of the playoff race, the Lakers have some incentive to tank the rest of the way and improve their 2019 NBA Draft lottery status. LeBron James (groin) has been shut down for the rest of the season, joining Lonzo Ball (ankle), Brandon Ingram (shoulder) and Josh Hart (knee) on the sidelines. Kyle Kuzma (foot) is listed as day-to-day. But despite these injuries, the Lakers are 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS over their past five games. The Clippers are going to the postseason, and they'll likely finish anywhere from third to eighth in the Western Conference, depending in part on how they perform Friday. They'll bring a nearly-full roster to Staples as the designated home team; Danilo Gallinari (ankle) was considered day-to-day after missing Saturday's game against Cleveland, but scored 27 points on Sunday versus Memphis.
